Welcoming Team
If you like to welcome people and make them feel like part of the Unity family, this is the team for you! Our mantra is: "People wanna come back!" You'll have fun meeting new people and getting to know Unity people better as we help visitors feel comfortable at Unity. There are two opportunities to serve, at the 9:00 and 11:00 am service. Volunteering at UCT
Volunteer service is the heartbeat of our church community. Join your heart with ours on one of our volunteer service teams. It's a great way to make friends, get to meet a variety of interesting people, and feel connected to our community.

Administrative Office Team
Have a couple hours during the week?
Help make those CD copies of the Sunday service everyone loves, light clerical, answer phones, copies, prepare mailings and data entry. No heavy lifting (well, only if you want to!)

A Friend in Deed
A great way to serve on an “as needed” basis. This team provides outreach to our members through a variety of services, which may include sending cards, providing transportation for medical appointments, preparing and/or delivering meals.

Book Store Team
Do you love books?
The team manages the bookstore by recommending and ordering titles and products, receiving, stocking, and merchandising inventory, and providing service at the sales counter on Sundays.

Prayer Chaplains
This special team of members is available to the members of our congregation for prayer. The Prayer Chaplain Team only accepts members once annually. Training is required and provided.

UCT Choir
Experience the joy that our wonderful choir radiates! Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings and the choir shares their gifts of music and song two Sundays per month at both services, and on special occasions.

Hospitality Team
Food, glorious food! This team sets up the coffee and snacks for the after service fellowship and cleans up afterwards. There are two opportunities to serve – the 9:00 and 11:00 service. Volunteer opportunities abound on this committee, please sign up in the bookstore after service to share your gift of hospitality with us!

Outreach Team
The Outreach Team offers support to our greater community by partnering with existing agencies that are in need of volunteer assistance. In the past we have supported many agencies including but not limited to Habitat for Humanity, Salvation Army, the Women’s Shelter, and the St Bernard Project for rebuilding in New Orleans.

Prayer Team/Silent Unity
Our prayerful members of this team affirmatively pray for the individual prayer requests of our congregation each week.

Special Events Team
Do you enjoy planning and organizing? Join us in organizing the many wonderful events we share together. We have our annual popular demand events – the picnic, silent auction, Thanksgiving potluck, and dances. There’s always sure to be something new and exciting happening!.
Usher & Greeter Team
Welcome to this place! Help spread that welcome to our visitors and congregants as they arrive for Sunday service and assist visitors with any questions they may have. Ushers attend to the congregation during Sunday service by handing out bulletins and welcome packets, and collecting the offering.

Youth Education Team
If you love kids, this team is for you! As our youth education program continues to grow there are opportunities to serve all age groups from nursery care, to teaching or assisting with children’s church.
Seeing our children grow in our Unity family is a richly rewarding experience.
