Have you wondered what would be the point of praying when God is not a person?  Learn how, instead of talking to God, to pray from a consciousness of divine empowerment. This class is a prerequisite for serving as a Prayer Chaplain at UCT, newly formatted class based on the book How to Pray Without Talking to God: Moment by Moment, Choice by Choice. Your Spiritual Guide to a Healthy Weight facilitated

A 4 week course in developing a spiritual guide to a healthy weight and lifestyle. We will discuss ways to take care of yourself spiritually, physically and emotionally in order to be present with yourself and others.  Topics include setting goals and boundaries, a work/play balance and serving others as a way to develop your own healthy lifestyle. There will be time in class for exercises and goal setting.  Bring a mat or towel, water and a flex ball and dumbbells if you’d like. Cindy Goulding is a licensed master’s level therapist, certified personal trainer and wellness coach.   Cost: Love Offering  Email Cindy for more information.

Unity: Practicing the Principles

This class is open to anyone who would like to learn about the Unity Principles.  If you are thinking about becoming a member, it is one of the requirements for membership at UCT.  Email Paula for additional information.  Drop-ins are welcome!


New Member Class, Part Two

Membership at UCT is a commitment to spiritual growth through the application of Unity principles.  It is also a commitment to live those principles in relation to others in this spiritual community.  Other requirements include: A working knowledge of the Unity principles through a past affiliation with the Unity movement or attendance at an introduction to Unity class; taking the Spiritual Gift assessment and meeting with a staff member to discuss your results; at least 8 hours of volunteer service; and approval by the Board of Trustees.  Upon completion of requisites, new members will be received during a Sunday service.
